SIANAKANGA BRIDGE COLLAPSES 

Kazungula Town Council is saddened to inform the public that Sianakanga Bridge of Nyawa Chiefdom has been severely damaged dual to the heavy rains currently being experienced in Southern Province.

The bridge which connects Nyawa Chiefdom to the Province was damaged on Tuesday 07^th February, 2018.

Kazungula District Council Secretary Given Muleya has since called upon Road Development Agency (RDA) and Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing to swiftly intervene in the matter and re-join Nyawa chiefdom back to the Province.

Mr Muleya said the designs of the new bridge have been made and is waiting funding from RDA Headquarters.
